Website Redesign

Nothing lasts forever, and occasionally a website needs to be tweaked to stay current and competitive. If you’re here, you recognize this, and it’s probably time to take that leap.

You may just want to update your color scheme, or you may need to reorganize the site to make it work better for you. No matter how small or large the project, my job is to take your website and make sure it’s doing the best job of helping you achieve your goals.

What’s involved with redesigning my site?

Renovating a website is kind of like renovating a house, but without the mess. I do all the work separately from the existing site, so it won’t be a big jumble of old and new pages and leftover bits to stub your toe on.

  1. We discuss your needs: what’s working for you, and what’s not
  2. I’ll come up with plan for what to needs to be changed
  3. I’ll present some new organizational and/or layout comps for your approval
  4. I’ll do the actual rebuilding
  5. Replace the old site and re-launch!

That’s it. Not too bad, huh? If you need someone to keep the site updated and running smoothly, I can do that, too.

How long will all this take?

It depends on the site, of course, and how much needs to be done. But it could take anywhere from a week or so to change the colors, to six or more weeks for a complete overhaul.

How much will it cost?

Well, it depends. I know that’s not satisfying, but the ultimate cost depends on how large the site is, what needs to be changed, and how much actual page rebuilding happens. But I’ll be happy to put together a no-obligation proposal for you after chatting about the specifics.

[Martin] was immediately responsive to my ideas and molded them into a site exactly as I had imagined.
